Amanda Kyle Williams wrote several lesbian spy/intrigue novels in the early 90s which I read, then she “disappeared”. Out of seemingly nowhere last year she came out with the first novel in a new detective series through a mainstream publisher. The main character is apparently straight, but the book is populated with gay people. It was a fun read, so figured I’d at least give the tip of my hat to her for old time’s sake. The book is The Stranger You Seek and my Book Bits comments about it are found here.
